He received his mathematical engineering degree and Master of Science in mathematics at Universidad Federico Santa Maria in 2013, for his master thesis he studied the controllability of a quantum system describing trapped ions. Between 2015 and 2020 he did his Ph.D. in Mathematics at University of Pennsylvania under his advisor Robert Strain. In his PhD thesis he studied the question of existence of unstable scenarios for a nonlinear fluid problem known as the Muskat equation.
